About Us: 

The New Hampshire SPCA serves as a vital community resource center, fostering connections between animals and people. Since our establishment in 1872, we have remained dedicated to our vision of providing a safe and loving home for every animal.

At NHSPCA, we offer a range of services including adoption, education, investigation, and sheltering with professionalism and compassion. We serve over 121 communities across Rockingham and Stafford Counties, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts. Our Adoption Center receives nearly 2,500 unwanted, neglected or abused animals from our region each year. We provide each one with a warm bed, medical care, nutritious food and the time it takes every step possible to place them in the best possible new home.

Commitment to Animals: 

As an open admission, unlimited stay facility, NHSPCA does not impose time limits on our animals finding homes. We prioritize their well-being and strive to ensure they find loving environments where they can thrive. As an independent, non-profit organization, we rely solely on private donations and do not receive funds from government entities or ongoing support from national associations.
