The reluctant animal snuggler...

Hey friends! It's Donella from Jules' Bistro. 

I'm leaping way out of my comfort zone by spending the night with a bunch of furry animals. Don't get me wrong: I appreciate animals — I'm just not super comfortable when they’re right next to me...drooling, licking and shedding hair. 

But even a reluctant animal snuggler like me believes every living creature deserves love, food, medicine and a home. I'm an equal opportunity bleeding heart.

I'm also a fairly new Grandmeow. ;-) One of my son Noah's first decisions as an adult living on his own was to save a starving kitty. He surrendered her to a Humane Society and then regretted it...so surprise, surprise...mom got her back. We named her Poly, which is short for Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC. (Noah's a plumber.)
