Sarah's Slumber Pawty for Shelter Pets

Did you know that Anti-Cruelty, the only open-door shelter in Chicago, spends an average of $2,000 a week on just pet food? And cares for over 20,000 animals a year?  There is so much more Anti-Cruelty is doing, such as the Shelter Slumber Pawty on Saturday, April 5!  This fundraiser event is new to Anti Cruelty and will hopefully bring in over $10,000 in donations! And it will bring me to the shelter for 24 hours to volunteer, for fun and games and of course to cuddle and comfort the shelter pets that would love nothing more than to have a Slumber Pawty of their own every day at a loving forever home. 

I am also spending a day and a night at the shelter to raise funds for Anti-Cruelty's mission to feed, shelter, and care for over 20,000 animals per year.  With your help, Anti Cruelty can continue to provide services through its:

       - Adoption program

       -  Charity Veterinary Clinic 

       - Low cost spay/neuter clinics

       - Cruelty investigations and rescue

       -  Humane education and community outreach

       -  Free Behavior helpline

       -  Dog training classes

       - Pop Up food pantry program 

Any donation, no matter how large or small makes a difference for the animals in need and I really appreciate you considering donating to my fundraiser and supporting one of the oldest animal shelters in the country that has been saving animals in Chicago for over 126 years.
