Well ... my partner for the evening has been chosen! Manolin ... aka Manny. Most people who know me are not surprised by this choice ... but most people that know Manny are cheering big time tonight for this boy. He actually came up to my office for the first time today, and did amazing! ❤️
You will get to hear more about my buddy during the Slumber Party, but for tonight I am going to say how proud of him I am. This fellow arrived at Paws Crossed basically feral. The strides he has made are incredible. From completely untouchable, and beyond terrified ... to us learning that other dogs were his security blanket and literally transporting him to and from play yards in a crate (thank you Scott Salant), to actually walking on leash, playing with toys, seeking human attention ... I wasn't sure if I could get him to my office but our trial run was amazing. Tune in Saturday night to see how we are doing. We are excited to share our themed decorations with you! 🏝️
Hello there! We are so excited to be participating for our 2nd year in the Nationwide Shelter Slumber Party event! Last year this event began on my birthday (April 6th). This year it ends on it! ... And I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday! With our awesome staff and volunteers, all raising money to benefit our magnificent pets!!! It's gonna be an incredible 24-hours. We will be sharing many emotional stories along the way, showing off some gorgeous furry faces, and you can bet there will also be a lot of shenanigans and laughs!!!

Stay tuned as I try to decide who will be my pup for the sleep-over, evening portion of the event. NOT an easy decision. And what will my office be decorated like? COME ON! If you know me, you know there is going to have to be a theme setting!
